Family Photos

The problem with being an artist is everyone is always asking you what you're working on, especially when you are TRYING TO WORK!

Every time I have my camera on, Amy and Noe get in my face and try to get in the pictures. Sometimes I really just want to take pictures of the radiator cover and Ralphie (who never TRIES to be in my photos) but Amy and Noe just keep getting in my way. On the occasions I actually try to take a picture of them, they always lean in and ask some stupid question like "Is the camera on?" and my picture turns out all fuzzy. It can be very frustrating! Here are some examples:

I was scared Amy was going to poke me with her fork.

Noe is the worst at getting his picture taken - he can not stand still.

Finally! They followed my instructions and I got a good one...
although I prefer candid shots to posed.

Abstract Art

Bet you can't guess what this is...

I will give you a clue: if you live in the Northeast or in an older house, you probably have one of these...

Do you give up yet?

OK, since no one can guess, I will tell you what it is. These were taken while I was sitting in my favorite spot: on top of the radiator in the dining room. Here is a much less artistic view from the top of my perch:

We have a cover for the radiator made out of lattice. I lay on top of it when the radiator is on and the heat comes up through the little holes and makes me nice and warm...and when my camera takes pictures through the holes, it looks really cool! I want Amy to put these in the art show so all of New London can see what a great photographer I am...

Not My Bag, Baby

What is this? It looks like mom went to the store. Maybe I should go check it out...

Ooh, Target! I wonder if there is anything good in here?

This is boring. I'm getting off the table now.

Morning Buns

Sometimes Amy and Noe put my camera on me on Saturday or Sunday morning while they lay in bed and drink coffee and read magazines. I use this time to explore the whole house. Here are some of my favorite spots:

My blanket, my favorite purple jack, and Amy's DVDs.

I'm not too good at taking pictures of people yet - I got Noe's hand, though!

Sometimes I like to sit by the fireplace in the living room.

This is the view of my neighbor's house from the guest room -
Amy and Noe say that it is my bedroom.

Noe! Get your foot out of my photo!

Little Bro

Hands down (paws down?) my favorite thing to take pictures of is my brother, Ralphie. Ralph and I have never been separated. Even when we lived at the cat clinic, we lived in the same pen. When Noe and Amy picked us out, I was the biggest kitty in the whole litter and Ralph was tiniest. He used to curl up in a ball and I could curl up all the way around him!

Now Ralph is much bigger, but we still like to curl up together. Since I spend so much time with Ralphie, it's no wonder that he has shown up in some of my best photos:

Here is a blurry one - I was a little too close.

Ralphie likes to stretch in the morning.

This is the best picture I have taken yet!

I wear my Buns Glasses at night

Yesterday and today I took some pictures of my house.

First, I sat on my favorite step for awhile, thinking about where I wanted to go and what I wanted to take pictures of. While I sat there thinking, my camera took some pictures of the living room.

This picture didn't show my favorite part of the living room, though - the Christmas tree. So tonight I went into the dining room and tried to take some pictures from a different angle:

I also took a picture of Amy walking through the dining room - she was coming to see what I was up to:

Last but not least, I wanted to take a picture of my favorite person in the whole world, my dad Noe. Noe loves to play with me. Here is Noe playing with me a toy I got from my friend Amanda:

I had such a fun night taking pictures! I can't wait to take more. I love wearing my camera!

Meet The Buns

Hello. My name is Sunny, but everyone calls me The Buns. Why Buns, you ask? Well, when I was a kitten, I was so soft that my dad (Noe) started calling me "Sunny Bunny", which eventually got shortened to "Bunny" and then my mom (Amy) started calling me "The Buns".

I was rescued as a small orphaned kitten and taken to the Ann Arbor Cat Clinic with my four brothers and sisters. Here we are shortly after our arrival - I am the orange and white one looking at the camera:

One of the girls at the clinic, Kristen, thought we were SO cute that she sent our picture to her sister, Amy, who sent it to her boyfriend, Noe...and within a week of the picture being sent, Noe came and got not only me, but my brother Ralphie (the tan kitten in the front of the basket). Now we live with Amy and Noe in Connecticut.

Even though she doesn't get to see us very often, Kristen still likes to get us fun stuff to play with. This year, she gave us a Pet's Eye View camera! Amy and Noe can put the camera on my collar and set it to take pictures at certain time intervals. I get to wear the camera because I am a good girl and ignore it, while Ralph tries to kick it, bite it, and just mess with it in general. Here is a picture of me wearing my camera:

Because I have already taken so many good pictures with my camera, Amy set me up a website to show off the best ones. We will update it whenever we get good photos.

Get ready to see the Buns-Eye view!

These are some photos from the first night I wore my camera, January 2, 2009.

This is the TV room window as seen from my favorite spot on Noe's lap.

My food bowl!

There will be new photos posted tomorrow!
